The one with the pink shirt and shorts is me, the one that has very blond hair is my sister, the boy is Viktor, and the other girl is Arianna. (the one with the black shorts) (Viktor and Arianna are my best friends) I live at an apartment, so thats why we are near a dumpster. "Danny" is some boy I hate.

The Lazy Wolf (Story)

I wrote this at the beginning of my fourth grade year, so it may seem strange or something like that. It was my homework, I had to write a story with my spelling words in it. :D This is the edited story below...

The Lazy Wolf

There was once a wolf named Pete many years ago. He was very lazy and scrawny. He was usually curled up sleeping past dawn and hardly howled at the moon. He was usually sleeping on his couch. When he wasn't sleeping, he was usually eating pizza and getting covered with red tomato sauce. He had a filthy coat (which was the only thing he wore. (He didn't wear shoes and a shirt, like the other wolves of his time.) He spoke only dull words and nearly bored people to death with his conversations about himself. (He would also gloat, so he had no friends, except for Piggy, who had the same personality.) One day, he heard of about a contest, free of charge.

The contest was to see who could finish the chore first, which was to push and pull the logs the fastest to the finish line, and the winner gets a sweet chocolate cake and a huge pizza. so of course Pete didn't enter. Piggy was going to give the pizza to him and keep the cake for himself.

After the contest (Piggy had won) he dropped off a a huge pizza just for Pete. He had already eaten his cake. Pete started eating right away. He didn't spare a single slice for his friend.He wasn't alarmed when he started to turn purple. His pizza started to bounce in his tummy. He put down his pizza and...

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

He exploded. The pizza was actually magical and exploded in a greedy, selfish, filthy, and lazy creature's stomach. That was the end of Pete.

The Hungarian Rice Pudding's Secrets

Recipe

Kids' favorite! It is a very easy recipe, but you have to keep an eye on it: make sure the milk does not burn down.

1 cup rice (regular, store brand)

1 cup water

5 cups milk

pinch of salt

6 tbs sugar

1 tbs vanilla extract

1/2 lemon's zest (fresh! If you don't have it, 1 tbs lemon juice is o.k. too)

1 big handful of raisins for extra sweetness (you can leave it out)

It takes about 1 hour to make it. However you don't need to be in the kitchen all the time, just check it in every 5-8 minutes to make sure the milk does not burn down.

• Measure the water, rice and a pinch of salt into a big pan and bring to to boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the rice absorbs the water (5 min)
• Add the milk, and bring it to boil on medium-low heat, while stirring frequently; milk burns easily.
• About stirring frequently: it is o.k., it suppose to be sticky :)
• When boils, lower the heat to lowest possible; but make sure it bubbles, slowly. (20-30 min)
• When the rice absorbed about 3/4 of the milk (it has a soup-like look), add the sugar, vanilla, lemon zest and the raisins and simmer for 5 more minutes.
• Remove from heat and allow to sit for 15-20 minutes; it will thicken.

Serve with cinnamon sugar, cocoa sugar, or both :)
